Intro Into The Ideal Woman

I created this blog as a way to introduce the Fascinating Womanhood teaching and principles to millennial's and women of all ages around the world. I feel these principles are needed more now then ever before. People are getting divorced at an alarming rate, the foundation of the family is being held by a dangling string, and couples are not getting married because they feel that don't need to be married anymore. The major reason I have created this blog is because I want to help women realize that we are strong creatures who are the gatekeepers of civilizations. "We are the mothers to leaders, inventors, movers and shakers who help to make the world a better place. If it was not for women, civilization would not exist.

Over the last few decades, women have been told in one way or another that we should be ashamed to stay at home and be mothers. Stay at home moms have been that they are lazy and dumb for wanting to stay at home. Women have been put down and humiliated for …

Why You Shouldn't Pay To Go Out With A Guy

In my younger days(AKA, 3 years ago) I thought it was cool to pay for a date or give a few dollars to a guy when he needs it. Now, I am no longer like that anymore. I noticed that when I did that for a guy they 1.)  Used me 2.) Did not appreciate me 3.) Did I say used me???
The reason guys feel they can have ladies pay for dates(that includes splitting the bill) , make last minute dates, call all hours of the night, or not even take us out at all is  because we allow them as ladies to treat us in that fashion.
Let me tell you a story. A few years ago, I was going through a rough patch in my life. I had left the church I was involved with and was not allowed to talk to anyone from the church. I had decided to leave my job as a child care worker after realizing I was not cut out for the job . and I had decided to go back to school. While I was in school, I decided to get a part time job. While I was doing some test for my new job, I met Robert*. Me and Robert talked for a few minutes …

The case of the missing Home economics class

Around 50 years ago,Home Economics was a required course in school. Young ladies took home economics, young men took woodshop. They had clubs for girls such as Future Homemakers of America. For homemakers they had homemakers clubs where they went to women houses once a month to try a new project or swap tips and recipes. Now, Homemakers clubs are close to extinction, FHOA are now calledFamily, Career and Community Leaders of America, and even though they still have cooking classes and fashion design courses in school, the whole content of the home economics course has changed. It has changed so much that its not even called home economics anymore its called Family and consumer science.

Is sewing still a must have skill?

For the past few years,I have always had on my to-do list to learn how to sew. Shortly after my baby was born,my mom showed me hot to sew by hand ,but my interest in learning how to use a sewing machine. So far,I haven been able to find the time to learn how to sew. I had a conversation with Dixie A. (president of Fascinating Womanhood International and daughter of  Helen Andalin) and she said that sewing is a great skill to know,But with stores such as Forever 21,H&M,and Aliexpress, its cheaper to buy clothes rather then buy fabric and sit down to sew.

Years ago, when you were on a tight budget, you made your own clothes. Now they don't even teach sewing in school anymore(unless you are going to be going to fashion design school). Most people my age dont even know how to sew a button or darn a sock. Now with sites such as Youtube and crafty, you can learn how to sew online. But is it worth it to sew your own clothes. Also, sewing is great to know so that you can make your own home …

Being a lady is back in style

I was look through videos on You tube when I found this show about being a lady in the 21st century.Growing up,I was a  young lady who was into etiquette books and finishing schools(so upset there is no more traditional finishing schools around) and I was even a debutante my senior year of high school. But as I got older, I lost a lot of those feminine traits that I was as a little girl. Right now with me following the Fascinating Womanhood principles, I am trying to gain the ladylike mindset back.I was looking to see if there was any etiquette schools/charm schools in my area and found a few articles about women trying out etiquette classes and how it is very fundamental for the business world(think of all those business dinners and trips).

The video also talks about deportment(AKA, how to walk graceful), riding a horse sidesaddle(every time I think of riding sidesaddle,I think of the movie Princess Diaries 2),and other traits of a lady and how they are being revamped for the 21st …

Lets Talk About The Bachelor

I am sorry for neglecting the blog for a while. I was in the process of writing about being feminine in the workplace post and finishing up the Fascinating Womanhood course, when my son had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery. I thank God for watching over me and my family during this turbulent time. My son is doing 1000% better and I want to thank Children’s hospital for taking care of my son. They were truly my angels.
Now back to business, let’s talk about The Bachelor.
I am going to be honest, I do not look at the show. It never interested me as a form of entertainment (this also includes the show The Bachelorette and other dating shows like this). The only time I remember looking at the Bachelor is during one of the wedding episodes (not many of these couples have married so that should tell you something). I can’t understand how someone can go on national television with 25 other women, go on a handful of dates with this guy, be intimate with him (again on TV)…
